Senioritis and College Board Exams

Dear Seniors in High School,

Your future is dawning before you rapidly. Don't panic and don't slow down on the home stretch. It's your last semester to prove you can study more efficiently, learn more, and be prepared to be an independent learner in college. Mom and Dad aren't going to ask you next Fall if you've done all your work before you go out with your friends. Only your trained student's conscience will tell you the correct thing to do.

If you aren't satisified with your SAT scores currently, then it's time to hire a pro and get in some great practice. If you were trying to be a pro golfer, you'd hire a retired pro coach or trainer, wouldn't you? Academics Upward Tutoring has a great track record for improving SAT and ACT scores for college entrance requirements. With over twenty years of experience, your senioritis jitters can be overcome and you can still get an acceptance into the college of your choice.

It is, however, important to schedule five weeks before you sit for the real exam. Saturday mornings for four weeks before your Saturday exam will be needed to meet with Dr. Greer, take practice exams, and do homework exercises to increase your speed and selectivity in answering questions. Dr. Greer gives tips on test-taking strategies, memory techniques, organization skills, and process of eliminating distractors. Your vocabulary will be increased three-fold for the reading, essay, and grammar sections for the SAT.

Give AUT a phone call and schedule your appointment if you live in the Upstate of South Carolina: 864-542-7622 or mailto:drgreer@charter.net .
