Guess What? First SAT Registration Deadline is Sept. 7, 2012!
That's right, for the first exam on November 3, your registration deadline is right after Labor Day weekend. In order to get your papers in on time, you probably should apply before the mail holiday on Monday of that week. See the SAT site for more information. http://sat.collegeboard.org/register/sat-dates?s_kwcid=TC-3529-6734071005-be-1082773972
Although the ACT site http://www.actstudent.org/regist/dates.html has yet to post its 2012-2013 registration and test dates, the first ACT exam will be in late August. That means you need to start your tutoring with me the end of July if you want to sit that exam and have your registration in before you come for coaching!
Remember that summer is the best time to practice for your SAT and ACT exams and on my prior post, I have some reasons for doing just that! Call me at 864-278-2018 or email at drgreer@charter.net to take advantage of super savings.
Chou, les estudiees!

Summer's a Great Time to Prep for a Standardized Test
You just finished your junior year in High School and you want to take the summer off and spend time at the beach, right? Nada. Get your books out before those fond memories of formulae and vocabulary words drift off into the twilight of your memory. Start studying for your ACT or SAT exam. Or if you've been thinking about graduate school, stop thinking and start studying for the GRE. Summer is the best time to get your scores up where you want them. The days are longer and you can get more finished after your work day. Perhaps the kids are at Grandma's for a month. Use the time to prepare for a tough exam.
This summer until August 15, Academics Upward is offering 15% off for all standardized test preparations: GED, EMS, SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT and others. Just give me an email at drgreer@charter.net or call at 278-2018 and we can get started. I can work around your schedule: mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Saturdays are also possible, but there is an additional $20 charge as it means I don't get to travel on the weekend while you are getting coached.
